More toys, more excitement

"Toy story 2" from Disney/Pixar followed the first account of the adventures of Woody, Buzz, Andy and their pals into packed theaters. The voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and others once again added to the action filled comedy adventures of a cast of toys that are more real than fanciful.

Excellence in Media awards its highest honor to a film that has an exciting story, characters who have delighted the world, in the arts of computer animation that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to work it's storytelling magic. The original Toy Story grossed $360 million, sold to 22 million videocassettes in the USA alone, and became the third highest grossing film in animation history. These are statistics but to put it more simply, we honor Toy Story 2 because it was such "pure fun".
