Two Who Care

Two foremost experts in the field of television received gold Angels for their achievements in setting up a television network that covers the West Indies -- and for their care for others. They are the husband and wife team of Michael and Maureen Magnuson. A native of Minnesota, he arrived in Granada in 1982.

He had with him a satellite dish and a desire to help the "street children". She came from Trinidad with the same vision of helping others. This year they will celebrate their 20th anniversary. Under his direction, Lighthouse Television reached out to cover the West Indies. They have won numerous Angels for their outstanding productions, including one for the interview with Grenada's prime minister, the Honorable Keith Mitchell.

For their vision and remarkable achievements we present each with a Gold Angel -- for their love and assistance to others and taking a spiritual message to the far corners of their world.
