A boy's extraordinary gift of seeing the future in his dreams provides the story of DreamWorks' Joseph, King of Dreams, an animated feature on video and DVD. Sold into slavery in Egypt by his jealous brothers, Joseph finds himself engulfed in high adventure, hidden intrigue and blossoming romance. The animated musical was three-years in the making and features the voices of Ben Affleck, Mark Hamill, Steven Weber, and Judith Light.

The video follows in the tradition of The Prince of Egypt. Five new songs were introduced by Judy Benson, David Campbell and Maureen McGovern. "I think that the reason this has always been such a powerful story is that it deals with things that are close to all of us" related Jeffrey Katzenberg. "It is about the power of family, the heartbreak of a family divided and how a family united can achieve extraordinary things.

These stories are really lessons of life that are timeless." The executive producers were Jeffrey Katzenberg, Steve Hickner and Penney Finkelman Cox.
