He has sold more than 5 million albums in a mix of classical, pop, rock and jazz. He has a mailing list of 250,000 fans. He is John Tesh, admired, adored, and respected. His most recent album "One World" (GTSD records) roams the musical culture of several worlds. A prodigy from New York, John Tesh was playing a trumpet at six in high school and he was with the New York State Symphony Orchestra. He studied journalism at North Carolina State, and at age 23 was WCBS's (New York) youngest reporter. He won Emmys for his coverage of sports. In 1986 he became co-anchor of "Entertainment Tonight". He continued to write music for sports events, winning numerous awards, including Emmys. In 1992 "A Romantic Christmas" became his first gold record. "Live at Red Rock" followed, which established him as one of the world's "stars" in music.
