For four years, the world laughed over GORDON JUMP'S managing-and wrecking-WKRP IN CINCINNATI. No actor ever played a role so seriously- and hilariously-as did this genius of comedy. In real life, he once was with WIBW radio in Topeka. Somehow that station managed to survive him. He is all over the air, too, as the only actor who ever drew a nice sum to sleep through a commercial. The Maytag people pay him for his napping.

Before he was discovered in hollywood, he was a lecturer for Forest Lawn cemetery. Then followed a variety of roles in little theaters, and later guesting on most of the major television shows.

Today he travels widely, playing for charitable causes in telethons, golf and tennis tournaments. He hosts regional telethons for the Leukemia, Cancer, and Muscular Dystrophy causes.
